Ahhh, amore...
It’s positively tortuous liking two boys at once and having them both like you back. I'm not being sarcastic either. It freaking sucks. People tell you it's fun and you should enjoy it and that there's no harm but it's icky.
Some people, my sister for example, is quite happy with that set up. She dates and dates and busts up with them frequently and dramatically and honestly, I think she’d be bored if not dating seventeen guys at once.
Me, more like you, I gather, am more of a one-man-at-a-time-woman.
But now that my dating years are over,
Know what I’ve regretted the most?
Not going with that zoomy, swoopy, stay-up-all-night-feeling.
I regret making what were most certainly safe and pale decisions.
I regret settling for someone to go to brunch on Sunday with.
I regret not following my gut.
I say go for J.
Eat pizza, giggle between the stacks, do the whooshy, floaty fun infatuation thing.
Let it all hang out.
You won't regret it.
And if you're anything like I was at 22, by now, this post will be completely out-of-date...for one of them will have already gotten back together with his ex-girlfriend and the other one will have had a profound religious experience and has to join the Jesuits and today you've decided you prefer girls.
Not that there's anything wrong with joining the Jesuits.
