I gotta tell ya... I am one month away from 31 and 30 was one of the best years I have ever had - it only gets better Krissa - I swear it!!
Actually Julia, I think I might be the grand dame at 36 yrs. And my friends in their 40s say it only gets better.

the 30s are so fucking great, i can't even tell you.
i look at my 20s as my dress rehearsal. i mean, i'm grateful for them, but, really, they were just a big 'ol learning experience. now, three years into my 30s [seriously -- am i the grand dame, which, of course, is a polite way of saying old lady -- of the group? i think i am.] i am loving it. i feel stronger, smarter, more self-aware. use the 20s as your testing ground, make your mistakes, learn from them, and then get ready, because the 30s are the shit.
and, just think -- oprah says the 40s are even better. i'm all tingly just thinking about it.

30s kick ass! So much better than my 20s.
Early 20s = crazy highs and lows.
Late 20s = getting your shit together, evening out the manic rollercoaster ride. So it the lows get higher...but the highs aren't quite as exciting. ;)
That's the view from here, almost 28 years old.
